Rogers Overhead Door was founded in 1960 in Wooster, Ohio by Dave Rogers. He started the company from his own garage as a one-man business. Residential Garage DoorsHe did door-to-door sales on his own with one truck until his son was old enough to work with him. Bill sold both residential and commercial doors and marketed honest service and a high-quality product.
In January of 2002, Ed and Melissa Rooney bought Rogers Overhead Door and expanded the company's service area to include all of Central Ohio. Today, Rogers has grown from a one-man company to one that employs eleven people and has bases in Wooster, Akron, Medina, and Mansfield. Rogers has maintained its reputation of offering superior overhead door and operator service and continues to distribute Wayne-Dalton and Raynor products.
Residential Garage DoorsRogers has grown over the last half century, but it still operates on the same basic principles that motivated Bill to start the company from his own home in 1960: providing premium customer service and high-quality products.
